Indaba Deli is the sister to Indaba restaurant opened in 2010 in Tollcross.

Situated at 88 South Clerk st. by the East end of the Meadows, in the heart of Edinburgh’s historical Southside, a short walk away from the Meadows, Edinburgh University and the Old Town.

Indaba Deli retains the ethos and atmosphere of the original Indaba restaurant, and indeed sells many of the products used in Indaba’s kitchen, along with a selection of Spanish and South African favourites for the cupboard and booze cabinet.

Recently we are operating also as a cafe bar, offering our selection of wines, beers and spirits along with our tapas and nibbles to sit in or take away. In a relax and cosy atmosphere you can enjoy the best of Indaba’s kitchen and Indaba’s drinks selection.

Actually, the booze selection here is quite serious – we offer value for money, everyday drinking wines and spirits, and for those who wish to indulge in something a little out of the ordinary, we should be able to fill that gap too. Remember though, Spain and South Africa will be the predominant countries represented at Indaba Deli, should you have a request for something not from there, please ask and we’ll see if we can assist
